What You'll Do as the Support Services Manager
- Oversee daily operations for facilities, maintenance, purchasing, fleet management, and agency support services.
- Manage departmental budgets, purchasing, contracts, and vendor relationships.
- Lead facility maintenance, renovations, preventative maintenance, and capital improvement projects.
- Supervise and develop support services staff while promoting safety, accountability, and teamwork.
- Coordinate agency-wide risk management, emergency preparedness, and workplace safety initiatives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership and department managers to improve operational efficiency and support strategic goals.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, agency policies, and facility standards.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five years of progressively responsible leadership experience; facilities, purchasing, procurement, construction, or risk management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, project management, facilities operations, and contract administration.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing vendor relationships, capital projects, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business management software.
- Valid Utah driver's license (or the ability to obtain one) and the ability to travel between agency locations as needed.
