Your Impact

  • Run, monitor, and fine-tune molding equipment to hit production goals and quality targets
  • Complete start-ups, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting
  • Review performance and conditions with the prior shift
  • Keep lines efficient and stable while performing routine adjustments and preventative maintenance tasks
  • Flag and report mechanical or maintenance issues quickly

Quality You Can See

  • Perform inspections and checks to confirm spec compliance
  • Document adjustments, process changes, and any quality issues
  • Detect defects early and take corrective action
  • Follow established quality procedures and work instructions

Keep the Floor Moving

  • Maintain raw material levels
  • Keep equipment and work areas clean and organized
  • Meet housekeeping and plant cleanliness standards

Safety Every Step

  • Follow all safety policies and procedures
  • Wear required PPE
  • Maintain a safe environment and report concerns immediately
  • Join safety trainings and initiatives

Beyond the Basics

  • Work to plant job specs and task requirements
  • Support overtime, shutdowns, and special projects as needed
  • Attend required meetings and training sessions
  • Pitch in on additional duties as assigned

Food Safety and Quality Mindset

  • Verify products meet food safety and quality requirements
  • Follow company food safety, GMP, and QA procedures
  • Restore product contact surfaces to sanitary condition after maintenance or production
  • Accurately complete all required food safety and quality documentation
  • Immediately report any food safety, quality, or process concerns to supervision

You are responsible for food safety, food quality, and site safety.

What You BringRequired

  • High school diploma or GED (preferred)
  • 1–2 years in manufacturing, machine operation, or production (preferred)
  • Mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills
  • Comfort following written instructions, procedures, and specifications

Preferred

  • Plastics manufacturing background
  • Packaging industry experience
  • Experience with machine set-ups and changeovers
  • Success in fast-paced production environments

Physical and Environmental Details

  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently
  • Stand/walk on concrete for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pushing, and pulling
  • Frequent hand use for tools, equipment, and materials
  • Work a 12-hour shift schedule
  • Close vision for inspections and quality checks

Work Environment

  • Production machinery and moving equipment
  • Moderate to high noise (hearing protection required)
  • Temperature variations normal to manufacturing
  • Exposure to plastics manufacturing processes
