Job Description

Shape the next school year as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) within a dynamic educational environment near Provo, UT. This contract opportunity is designed for professionals passionate about helping students achieve communication milestones and supporting their academic journeys.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Current and valid SLP-CCC certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence)
  • Previous experience working in school settings strongly preferred
  • Understanding of IEP development, implementation, and documentation requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy services to students identified with communication disorders
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication challenges through standardized tools and informal assessments
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals tailored to student needs
  • Maintain ongoing, accurate documentation of progress, therapy sessions, and compliance activities
  • Engage actively with teachers and staff to promote language-rich classroom environments
  • Consult and provide resources to families to support student progress at home and in school
