Location: On Site with travel - in either Detroit Metro, Salt Lake City, San Diego, United States, or Queretaro or Monterrey Mexico

Salary: $150,000+ (not including bonus and additional compensation)

Must be Bilingual: English and Spanish and experience managing cross dock operations in Mexico highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding cross-dock operations, service performance, and escalation management.
- Lead Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews (MBRs/QBRs) with executive clientele, presenting operational performance and action plans.
- Establish, monitor, and enforce KPIs and SLAs with third-party logistics partners; conduct operational and financial audits for compliance.
- Optimize cross-dock operational strategy across the United States and Mexico, eliminating bottlenecks and maximizing throughput.
- Manage cross-border freight consolidation and deconsolidation, ensuring efficient customs transit and supporting volume fluctuations.
- Implement standardized procedures across internal and partner facilities; oversee WMS transactions and inventory accuracy.
- Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives for waste reduction, process improvement, and damage prevention.
- Own and manage budgetary performance, drive cost-per-unit reductions, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement throughout the regional management network.

Must-Have Skills:
\n

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related technical field.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive leadership experience in warehousing, logistics, distribution, or cross-dock operations.
- Minimum 3 years supporting automotive logistics, JIT delivery, or sequenced parts operations.
- Minimum 4 years managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers and multi-site operational networks.
- Experienced in U.S.-Mexico cross-border logistics operations and customs-related processes.
- Advanced proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS), and supply chain analytics platforms.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret complex operational data and develop actionable strategies.
- Professional working proficiency in English.

- Ability to manage complex change initiatives and drive strategic planning efforts.
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management, executive customer engagement, and strategic partnerships within supply chain networks.
- Depth of knowledge in automotive supply chain and manufacturing logistics environments.
