Job summary
Ensure the accurate and timely processing and receipt of delivered items into our system, following established procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receive products into the inventory system, ensuring accuracy of items, and inspecting the count and condition of items according to established procedures and policies.
- Perform other duties and assist with projects as assigned by the area supervisor.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment
- Experience with inventory management
- Strong attention to detail
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent attendance record
- Ability to work efficiently and productively with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both internal and external customers
Physical Requirements:
- This position regularly requires the ability to stand for the majority of an 8-hour shift. Daily tasks may involve routine bending, crouching, lifting, and carrying products up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to visually identify products by name in English and accurately count quantities using basic math skills.
- Regular use of general warehouse tools and equipment, including ladders, pallet jacks, inventory scanners, tape guns, brooms, etc.
