Job DescriptionDescriptionAn established commercial electrical contractor working across the Salt Lake City market is hiring a Lead Project Foreman to run jobsites from layout through closeout. This is a confidential search for a full-time, in-field leadership role on commercial construction projects. You will own the crew, the schedule, and the quality of the install, with real backing from a company that keeps its people busy year round.
Key Responsibilities
- Run commercial electrical projects in the field from rough-in through final inspection
- Lead, schedule, and develop a crew of journeymen and apprentices on site
- Read and work from blueprints, specs, and submittals, and catch problems before they become change orders
- Coordinate daily with the general contractor, other trades, and the project manager
- Track manpower, material, and tool needs so the job stays on schedule and on budget
- Enforce safety standards and code compliance on every task, every day
- Keep accurate daily reports, manpower logs, and as-built documentation
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- 5+ years of commercial electrical construction experience, with time already spent leading a crew
- Utah Journeyman Electrician license, or a license from a reciprocating state you can convert
- Strong blueprint and specification reading, including panel schedules and one-lines
- Proven ability to hold a crew accountable while keeping good people on the job
- Comfortable working directly with general contractors and other trades on active sites
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; must pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen
