What You’ll Do
- Own drivability and electrical diagnostics using advanced equipment and platforms like Alldata and Mitchell OnDemand.
- Execute complex repairs across engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, HVAC, and vehicle electrical systems.
- Explain findings and repair plans to service advisors and customers; recommend preventive maintenance.
- Lead by example—coach junior technicians and enforce rigorous quality and safety standards.
- Conduct test drives and post-repair inspections to validate work.
- Document all services and repairs accurately.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized bay in line with all safety requirements.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of professional experience as an Automotive Technician in a passenger vehicle shop.
- Your own comprehensive set of professional-grade tools.
- A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Advanced proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment and technical manuals.
- Preferred: Current ASE Master Technician Certification.
- Sharp diagnostic reasoning, meticulous attention to detail, and high-quality workmanship.
- Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills.
Compensation, Schedule, and Perks
- $80,000–$110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
- Monday–Friday schedule with half days on Saturday as needed; most major holidays off.
