We're hiring a Lead HVAC Installer to join a respected, family-owned company that has served the Salt Lake Valley for more than two decades. With three generations of HVAC experience, the company has built its reputation on honest service, quality workmanship, and treating both customers and employees the right way.
In this role, you'll lead residential and light commercial installation projects while mentoring installers, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring every job is completed safely and efficiently.
What You'll Do
• Lead residential and light commercial HVAC installation projects from start to finish
• Supervise and support installation crews in the field
• Install furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductless systems, rooftop units, and related equipment
• Read blueprints, layouts, and installation specifications
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and local code requirements
• Troubleshoot installation issues and resolve challenges in the field
• Train and mentor apprentice and junior installers
• Maintain accurate job documentation and communicate project updates
• Deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a clean, professional job site
• Promote a strong culture of safety and quality workmanship
What We're Looking For
• 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience with leadership responsibilities
• EPA Certification required
• RMGA Certification required
• Strong knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC systems
• Experience with system change-outs, new installations, and ductwork
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and leadership abilities
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Dependable, professional, and committed to delivering quality work
