Job Title: Construction Management Representative (CMR)

Location: Glen Canyon National Recreation Area, Page, Arizona.

Duration: Anticipated from August 2026 – September 2027.

Job Summary: We are seeking a Construction Management Representative to provide full-time, on-site oversight for a critical Wastewater Utility Systems project. This project involves rehabilitating multiple lift stations, fish cleaning stations, and lagoons, as well as constructing a new lagoon and force main. The CMR will serve as the primary on-site point of contact for observing progress and ensuring work conforms to the National Park Service (NPS) plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Observation: Perform daily on-site observations to document construction progress, workmanship quality, and adherence to safety standards.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed daily logs (including photos), submittal logs, RFI logs, and project correspondence via NPS-specified management software.
• Project Controls: Review and verify contractor schedules (MS Project), payment requests, and certified payrolls for accuracy and compliance.
• Meeting Coordination: Arrange, facilitate, and document weekly progress meetings and technical negotiations.
• Modification Support: Draft scoping documents for contract modifications and assist in reviewing technical proposals.
• Safety Monitoring: Ensure the contractor complies with the Accident Prevention Plan (APP) and applicable building codes.

Required Qualifications:

• Safety Certification: Must have completed the OSHA 30-hour construction safety training.
• Technical Expertise: Proven ability to read and interpret complex construction plans and specifications, specifically for wastewater or utility systems.
• Software Proficiency: Expert knowledge of MS Project, MS Teams, Adobe PDF (for markups), Word, and Excel.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to walk or climb daily to perform site inspections
