What’s a typical day as a Quality Technician? You’ll be:
- Cataloging and documenting returned complaint devices and products
- Photographing devices as received and decontaminating used medical devices
- Conducting initial visual assessments and documenting findings in the complaint database
- Writing effective reports on preliminary investigations
- Performing basic troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and product testing (leak tests, flow tests, basic measurements)
- Communicating professionally with internal and external customers
- Following cGMP guidelines and maintaining high standards of organization and detail
- Assisting Quality Engineers with special projects and investigations
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Possess at least 2+ years in a similar quality function working with medical devices
- Are at least 18 years of age
- Can read product specifications and test procedures accurately
- Have knowledge of cGMP and basic math skills
- Are skilled with Microsoft Office and basic computer operations; Trackwise experience is a plus
- Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills
- Are detail oriented, highly organized, and able to handle used and contaminated devices safely
- Can lift up to 30lbs and work on your feet for 80% of the day
