Air General, a third-generation, family-owned, national cargo company, is looking for a part time Warehouse Agent - Ocean Cargo at our Salt Lake City Ocean facility located in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Warehouse duties include: handling the transfer of cargo to and from our client and their customers, with a strict adherence to safety and security procedures. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities include:
- Operate a forklift, tug and pallet jack
- Process customer paperwork and shipping information
- Load/unload cargo from/to vehicles/trucks
- Prepare, palletize, and/or breakdown cargo as needed
- Make sure paperwork related to the cargo is accurate
- Assure proper handling and delivery of cargo
- Clean up and sweep warehouse, dispose garbage
- Maintain safe operation of warehouse vehicles and equipment
- Follow Hazmat and Security Requirements and Regulations
- All other duties as assigned by supervisor/management
Requirements:
- Warehouse: 1 year.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have a valid and unexpired US Driver’s license.
- Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs.
- Candidates must possess some basic computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office programs.
- Must be able to clearly understand and communicate in English when performing essential job functions.
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment screenings, background checks, and government security background checks, and post offer drug screens.
- Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced, high-noise environment, and meet deadlines.
Schedule:
Wednesday through Friday, 12pm - 9pm
