Our organization is currently looking for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to become part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team focused on creating an innovative psychometric tool aimed at evaluating psychological resilience in adults. This project combines clinical, psychological, and quantitative methodologies and is spearheaded by a lead investigator from the Department of Psychiatry, alongside co-investigators from the Department of Psychology. This role offers an enriching mentorship experience, making it an excellent opportunity for a postdoctoral scholar keen on clinical research techniques, human subjects protocols, and statistical analysis. The primary responsibilities will include conducting participant study visits and performing statistical evaluations. Additionally, there will be chances to engage in data analysis, instrument validation, and publication efforts. This postdoctoral role is initially for one year, with the potential for extension.
Duration: 1 year with the possibility of renewal
Key ResponsibilitiesStudy Implementation & Participant Engagement:

Conduct semi-structured interviews and psychometric assessments as per the established protocol during both in-person and virtual study visits.

Maintain adherence to study protocols and ensure the protection of human subjects.

Act as a primary contact for study participants.

Work collaboratively with faculty investigators, project administrators, and team members.
Research & Scientific Contributions:

Engage in ongoing discussions related to the development and validation of measurement tools.

Collaborate with the research team on data interpretation and analysis.

Assist in the preparation of manuscripts and training materials.

Participate in IRB-related activities, including protocol amendments and study documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Background:
The ideal candidate will possess a PhD in disciplines such as psychology, neuroscience, statistics, bioinformatics, public health, or sociology, or hold an MD or MD/PhD.
