Seeking a Senior Controls Engineer with 10+ years of experience to lead advanced industrial automation and mission-critical control system projects.While our U.S. headquarters is based in Phoenix, we have offices nationwide and globally. This role is on-site in Phoenix, Salt Lake City, or Cedar Rapids depending on candidate location. What You’ll Do:
- Design, program, and commission PLC-based control systems
- Develop HMI/SCADA applications (Ignition preferred)
- Integrate systems using Modbus TCP/IP and other industrial protocols
- Work with Rockwell (ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PlantPAx), Siemens, and Modicon platforms
- Develop logic using Ladder, Function Block, and Structured Text
- Lead troubleshooting, commissioning, and system optimization
- Support mission-critical and data center projects (preferred, not required)
- Interface with clients and mentor junior engineers
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of controls engineering experience
- Strong PLC programming background (Rockwell preferred)
- Experience with Ignition SCADA
- Experience with field device gateways and industrial networking
- Data center or mission-critical experience is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred, not required
