Engineering Test Technician Compensation
- The pay range for this position is $30-$32 per hour based on experience
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Engineering Test Technician Highlights
- The required availability for this position is Monday – Friday 8:00am-5:00pm MST
- 100% onsite in Salt Lake City, UT 84116
Engineering Test Technician Responsibilities
- Performs a variety of engineering tests and activities in a medical device laboratory setting.
- Assists in the generation of formal test protocols and reports.
- Assists in the execution of test protocols and procedures.
- Sets up and operates test equipment and records measurements with
limited supervision. - Maintains accurate data and organizes and presents data in a reportable format.
- Provides process/test method training to manufacturing/QC personnel.
- Develops and maintains a working knowledge of BD policies and procedures and ISO and FDA requirements.
- Expedites and tracks Development Builds through documentation and manufacturing processes.
Engineering Test Technician Requirements
• Associate's Degree in science, math or engineering OR minimum of (4) four years related experience.
• The incumbent must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the duties and responsibilities.
• Must have Lab Experience
• Attention to detail, working with data sheets, documentation
• Medical Device experience
• Must be able to work in a biohazard environment and comply with safety policies and procedures outlined by company policies.
• Proficiency in personal computer software, especially Minitab and Excel.
• Ability to work in a team.
• Good communication skills (written/verbal).
• Ability to integrate written and verbal instructions; work under supervision.
• Basic organizational and math/statistics skills.
• Basic knowledge of standard laboratory practices.
• Ability to collect, record and report data accurately. Detail oriented.
• Technical writing proficiency.
• General aptitude with testing and manufacturing equipment.
• Task oriented.
