Helpdesk Agent / IT Support Specialist
Pay: $18.00–$20.00 per hour
Job Type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift, 8-hour shift
Location: In person
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and dependable Helpdesk Agent / IT Support Specialist to join our team. This full-time, in-office position supports daily IT operations, assists employees with technical issues, and helps maintain reliable systems across multiple company locations.
This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, working with people, and providing hands-on support for hardware, software, accounts, network equipment, and basic infrastructure needs. The ideal candidate is professional, responsive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day helpdesk support to employees and end users
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, email, login, and connectivity issues
- Set up, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, user accounts, and basic IT equipment
- Support Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace environments
- Assist with network infrastructure tasks, including running cables, supporting installations, and troubleshooting connectivity issues
- Support UniFi equipment, access points, switches, and related network devices as needed
- Work with NVRs, DVRs, and camera systems
- Document issues, resolutions, system changes, and recurring problems
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate internal or external support resources
- Travel to other company locations for support, installations, and troubleshooting when necessary
- Assist with occasional after-hours or weekend projects, system updates, or emergency support
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling company systems, accounts, security tools, and employee information
Qualifications
- Experience in helpdesk, IT support, technical support, or a similar role preferred
- Strong working knowledge of computer hardware, software, printers, basic networking, and user support
- Experience with Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace preferred
- Experience with UniFi equipment is a plus
- Familiarity with NVRs, DVRs, camera systems, or access control systems is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and follow-through skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Degree or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred, but not required
- Relevant hands-on experience may be considered in place of formal education
Requirements

- Reliable vehicle required
- Ability to travel to other company locations, including locations several hours away, as needed
- Ability to lift, move, and install IT equipment as needed
- Ability to work in person and provide on-site support
- Ability to assist with occasional after-hours, weekend, or emergency support when necessary
