About This Role
As the Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving financial performance, customer satisfaction, and team leadership at your location. This is a dynamic role that requires someone who can excel in sales, staff development, and operational execution, while embodying Bingham Cyclery\'s culture and values.
What You'll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Set and achieve sales revenue, margin, and expense targets
- Consistently rank among the top sales performers in the store
- Drive 5-star customer experiences across all interactions
- Lead daily team meetings for Sales, Service, and Inventory
- Develop and implement staff training programs
- Manage inventory processes including receiving, ordering, and cycle counts
Additional Responsibilities
- Participate in budgeting and KPI review meetings
- Supervise and schedule technicians to meet service timelines
- Support monthly events, clinics, and in-store engagement initiatives
- Foster a culture of professionalism, fairness, and accountability
Requirements
Requirements
- Minimum two years of retail management experience
- Minimum two years of retail sales experience, preferably in the bicycle industry
- Passion for cycling and active lifestyle culture
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
- Proven ability to manage KPIs and financial performance
- Detail-oriented, organized, and adaptable
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and POS systems
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends
Nice To Haves
Preferred candidates will have experience in any or all of the following:
- Google Suite and Bicycle Repair tools
- Sales Strategy formulation experience and proficiency in multiple languages (Spanish or additional languages)
