Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity for a Special Education Teacher is available in Salt Lake City, UT, working with students across elementary, middle, and high school levels (K-12). Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Contract Duration: Immediate start through the end of the school year
Schedule: Approximately 30 hours per week, spread over 5 days

Qualifications:

Valid Special Education Teaching License for the state of Utah
Experience teaching special education students in elementary, middle, or high school settings
Ability to tailor instructional approaches to meet individual student needs across K-12

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
Collaborate with classroom teachers, specialists, and families to provide comprehensive support
Monitor and assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
