We are currently seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) with behavioral care experience to provide one‑on‑one support for a male client in a Downtown facility. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on building personal connections and wants to see the direct impact of their care.
Shift Availability:
Morning: 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Evening: 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Available five days a week, plus weekends
Responsibilities:
As a DSP, you'll play a vital role in enhancing your client's quality of life. Your responsibilities will include offering companionship to foster meaningful relationships, assisting with personal hygiene needs such as peri‑care, bathroom or in‑bed support, and brief changes to ensure comfort and dignity. You'll also help with light housekeeping to maintain a safe environment, prepare nutritious meals tailored to client needs, provide transportation for outings or appointments, and give timely medication reminders to support overall health.

Benefits:
- Competitive Base Pay: Starting at $16.75 up to $18.25/hour (depending on experience, Dementia Certification, or CNA), minimum $27.50 per shift
- Training/GUIDE Respite Rate: $16.75/hour for any training or GUIDE Respite shifts
- Raises: Available after 60 days and annual reviews with consistent hours
- Bonus: Generous bonus after 60 days (20+ hours/week and required documents completed)
- Mileage: Paid between client visits (if under one hour apart)

Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and car
- Over 18 years old
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Able to pass a background check
- Experience in managing dementia and behavioral conditions
