Key Responsibilities\n
- \n
- Provide direct patient care on a 34-bed mixed medical-surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
- Perform Foley catheter insertions and central line dressing changes
- Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
- Operate unit equipment including bladder scanner, Welch Allyn vital signs monitors, and vein finder
- Fulfill on-call requirements twice per contract and complete four weekend shifts per schedule (Friday and Saturday nights)
- Float to other medical-surgical units within the facility as needed

Required Qualifications\n

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Utah or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
- Current BLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale certification
- Basic arrhythmia certification

Preferred Experience / Skills\n

- Current ACLS certification
- Prior charge nurse experience
- Flexible and organized work style with ability to adapt to a dynamic unit environment
