Job DescriptionSupport Critical Lab Operations in a Fast-Paced Environment as a Laboratory Technician with PDS Tech!
Pay Rate: $18.35
We’re seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laboratory Support Technician to assist research lab staff by maintaining clean, safe, and well-stocked lab environments. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone interested in gaining hands-on experience in a laboratory or scientific setting.
What You’ll Do Lab Maintenance & Sanitation
- Handle and dispose of biohazardous lab waste, including autoclave operation
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized laboratory spaces
- Perform equipment decontamination for removal from controlled areas
- Support lab prep tasks such as:
- Bleach bath and bottle refreshes
- Sticky mat replacements
- Safety glasses cleaning and restocking
Inventory & Supply Support
- Stock and replenish lab supplies across multiple labs
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of materials
- Assist with lab organization and supply tracking
Equipment & Operational Support
- Escort and chaperone maintenance and repair technicians in controlled lab areas
- Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance of equipment
- Assist with freezer maintenance, safety inspections, and chemical waste handling (with HSE team)
Team & Project Support
- Assist with lab organization, cleanup, and efficiency improvements
- Support special projects as assigned
- Work collaboratively with lab operations staff to maintain workflow
What You’ll Need
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Entry-level role – no experience required (lab experience preferred)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Reliable attendance and ability to maintain a consistent morning schedule
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
- Ability to follow safety procedures and detailed instructions
- Reliable transportation
Physical & Work Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Ability to wear PPE for extended periods
- Ability to climb stairs/ladders and move throughout lab environments
- Comfortable working around lab equipment and controlled environments

Pay Details: $18.35 per hour
