American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3+ years of experience and Epic charting proficiency for a role requiring ARRT CT and R certifications.
Details\n
- \n
- Adult acute care and outpatient CT setting
- Performs abdomen, pelvis, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and head/neck CT scans with and without contrast
- Uses GE, Philips, Siemens, and Toshiba CT equipment along with PACS
- Epic charting system required
- 4x10 hour day shifts, variable schedule including Fri 10a-8p, Sat 8a-6p, Sun 8a-6p, and Mon 10a-8p
- Weekend coverage required on a variable basis dependent on facility needs
- Traveler will float within scope as needed

Requirements\n
- \n
- Minimum of 3 years of CT Technologist experience
- ARRT (CT), ARRT (R), and BLS certification required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Skilled in abdomen and pelvis CT with and without contrast
- Experience with preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Proficiency in starting peripheral IVs
- Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- License required if applicable

Additional Information\n

- Preferred skills include aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, and drainage procedures
- Candidates must live at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel pay rate
- Previous full-time employees of the facility are not eligible to return as travelers under any circumstances
- Orientation includes completion of standard modules on the first day of assignment
