Position Summary

We are seeking a dynamic, polished, and relationship-driven Catering Sales Account Executive who can immediately step into a high-performance environment. This role is ideal for someone who loves building client relationships, crafting luxury event experiences, and driving revenue through strategic sales initiatives.

What You’ll Do

  • Proactively prospect and secure new catering business through cold calling, networking events, referrals, office visits, and industry outreach.
  • Build and nurture long-term client relationships with a focus on premium service and hospitality excellence.
  • Guide clients through menu development, proposals, tastings, negotiations, and event planning with sophistication and enthusiasm.
  • Collaborate closely with production and operations teams to meet monthly sales targets and support annual sales strategies.
  • Communicate promptly and professionally with clients, vendors, prospects, and internal departments.
  • Prepare and distribute detailed event information to internal teams, ensuring flawless execution.
  • Coordinate outsourced vendor services with Event Specialists, including rentals, on-site logistics, and deposit management.
  • Manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail and luxury-level service standards.
  • Build RFPs for preferred venue vendors and support special event permit submissions (temporary food, fire, parking, DABS single event permits).
  • Conduct elevated client tastings following established tasting guidelines.
  • Represent Cuisine Unlimited with professionalism, confidence, and a polished brand presence.

Qualifications

  • Must be 21+ years of age.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 3–5 years of hospitality industry experience preferred.
  • 1–2 years of catering sales experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to deliver clear, compelling presentations.
  • Experience with menu development and pricing preferred.
  • Highly organized, analytical, proactive, and able to adapt quickly in a fast-moving environment.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite required.
  • Experience with Total Party Planner preferred but not required.
  • Professional, enthusiastic, dependable, and committed to luxury-level client service.

Schedule

  • Flexibility required; events may occur during evenings, weekends, or holidays.
  • Some remote work flexibility may be available with approval.

Compensation

$52,000 - $62,000 annually DOE + Commission Potential

This range reflects experience, industry background, and demonstrated sales capability.
