Are you skilled in mold maintenance? Nexeo Staffing is looking for a Mold Maintenance Technician to join the team of our esteemed partner in West Jordan, UT.

This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with experience in injection mold maintenance who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and optimizing injection molds to ensure reliable production, high-quality output, and minimal downtime. You will work alongside production and technical teams to troubleshoot mold-related issues, support mold changeovers, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts that enhance mold performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on injection molds.

• Disassemble, clean, inspect, repair, and reassemble molds as needed.

• Identify and replace worn or damaged mold components.

• Assist with mold changeovers and insert changes to support production.

• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

• Troubleshoot mold-related issues with production and technical teams.

• Follow safety, quality, and 5S standards while maintaining an organized work area.

• Support continuous improvement efforts to enhance mold performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred.

• 2+ years of mold maintenance experience within an injection molding environment.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of mold components and functions.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

• Experience using hand tools, measuring instruments, and shop equipment.

• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with continuous improvement principles such as 5S, Kaizen, SMED, and PDCA.

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Pay

$24.00 Per Hour

Schedule

2:00pm – 10:30pm OR 10:30pm – 6:30am
