Position Overview

The Project Manager (PM) serves as the onsite lead responsible for managing all aspects of the VA Facility Recapitalization project, ensuring successful delivery aligned with federal standards, timelines, and budget expectations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead full lifecycle project management (design through construction)
• Develop and implement:
  • Project management plans
  • Risk mitigation strategies
• Monitor budgets, schedules, and contractor performance
• Facilitate project meetings and stakeholder coordination
• Review:
  • Design documents
  • Cost estimates
  • Submittals
• Provide strategic recommendations to COR
• Ensure compliance with VA standards and regulations
• Manage reporting within VA systems and databases
• Support permitting and regulatory compliance processes

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
• 8–12+ years of relevant experience
• Experience managing federal or healthcare construction projects
• Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills

Work Conditions

• Full-time onsite role
• Federal clearance required (PIV + NACI)
• Standard + occasional off-hours work
